​Something really cool and unexpected happened for Ravenous this summer.

We were asked by CMI (huge Washington apple grower) to take their newest boutique apple, the Ambrosia, and transform it into several different dishes for a group of food bloggers from Food Network, Saveur Magazine, Fine Cooking Magazine and Gluten-Free Girl. We served them at a few different NCW locations for an entire weekend. We did breakfast, lunch and dinner and received an abundance of positive feedback. Then, as if we weren't already giddy from the food bloggers' visit, we were asked to provide four of Dave's special recipes (like our warm, old fashioned Ambrosia apple crisp!) for Food Network, Saveur, Fine Cooking and Gluten-Free Girl to share.
A photographer then came out to our kitchen and we staged a beautiful orchard dining experience with the Ambrosia recipes that Dave crafted. It was an exciting experience for us and we are so flattered to have been given the opportunity. Cheers to a fantastic summer and to many more!
